The Brand

Explotecs is a privately owned LLC, founded in 2020. The business, originally known as "BZA Fitness" was conceived with the intention of helping young athletes who weren't able to receive training because of the pandemic. Looking to offer a hand to a growing number of individuals, our founder Brenden Ashby laced up his cleats, and got to work!

Coach Ashby

Born and raised in the DMV area, Brenden was introduced to organized sports when he started playing football at 5 years old. Even as a kid, it was evident that he had a passion for the sport and physical fitness as a whole. This passion would grow stronger throughout Brenden's high school years, and even into college, where he helped Bowie State University win 2 consecutive conference championships.

Certified Expertise

Ashby holds a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification, demonstrating his knowledge in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, and a multitude of other areas. He also earned his Bachelor's, and Master's Degree from Bowie State University, further adding to his knowledge in the field. Every decision he makes while training clients is backed by scientifically proven methods.
